Vac-Con Quick Maintenance Guide

Daily Truck Chassis

  • Engine Oil
  • Transmission Fluid
  • Engine Coolant
  • Air Cleaner
  • Tires and Lug Nuts
  • Al lights (Headlights, Break Lights, Turn Singles, Safety Lights, Warning Beacons, etc…)
  • Windshield
  • Brakes
  • Drain Air Tanks!
  • Know location of Fuse Box

Vac Con Module

  • Check Hydraulic Oil tank Level. (Use ISO32 or ISO68 Hydraulic Oil)
  • Check Transport Pins/Lockdowns
  • Check Hose Reel Outrigger Leg is Completely Retracted (if equipped)
  • Check Condition of Jetting Hose is in Good Condition with No Cracks, Kinks or Bubbles
  • Check to Make Sure Rodder Hose is Attached to Retainer Swivel
  • Check Hose Reel Footage Distance Counter is in Working Condition
  • Make Sure ALL Ball Valves are in the Off Position
  • Check to Make Sure Tool Box Doors are Shut and Locked
  • Check water pump crank case oil level
  • Auxiliary Engine (If equipped). Check engine coolant fluid level and engine oil level should be checked for proper levels
  • Lubricate the 3-stage vacuum compressor
  • Check PD Blower Oil Level (if equipped) ISO VG320 Hydraulic Fluid.
  • Check for loose or missing hardware/tools/pipes to Make Sure they are Secure
  • Check Hurricane Separator to Make Sure it is Clean
  • Know the Location of the Module Fuse Box
