We have applied powerful controller area network (CAN) technology to the operating controls of the venerable Vac-Con®® Combination Machine. Literally all machine functions are controlled by a central controller, which substantially reduces the complexity of the electronic and hydraulic systems. What do we mean by substantially? Well, for example, this new system eliminates more than a mile of wire (really ,it's not an exaggeration... 5300 feet for real!) and 124 wiring connections. And that's just for starters.
